Hualien private Transfer FAQs
- To take the High Speed Rail (HSR) from downtown Hsinchu City to Hualien, HSR is quick but pricey. From the earliest departure at 06:36 to the latest at 23:12, there are up to 62 high-speed rail from Hsinchu to Nangang each day. Assuming you depart from East District, Hsinchu City and head to the nearest Hsinchu HSR station, a taxi ride would cost about NT$400 and take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at the HSR station, the time to walk in, purchase tickets, and wait on the platform is about 15 minutes. Then, take a 42-48-minute (45 min on average) HSR ride from Hsinchu Station to Nangang HSR Station. The ticket price is NT$330 per person, followed by a 10-minute walk to exit the station, wait for a ride at the taxi stand, and after a trip of about 225 minutes with a fare of NT$5,200, you will arrive at your destination in Hualien City, Hualien County. The entire journey, including transfers, takes a total of 5 hours and 20 minutes. Assuming one person traveling alone, the total transportation cost is NT$5,930. In contrast, if you use Tripool for a door-to-door private car service, it will only cost NT$5,890, and the journey takes 5 hours and 24 minutes.
