For airport transfers in Japan, same-day booking availability depends on the country and region you are in. To ensure smooth vehicle dispatch and the best price, tripool's latest booking deadlines for overseas airport transfers are as follows:
(1) Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand: same-day booking is not available. Book no later than 23:59, 3 days before the ride date.
(2) Singapore, Malaysia: same-day booking is not available. Book no later than 21:00, 1 day before the ride date.
We recommend booking as early as possible after confirming your flight information to keep your itinerary smooth.
How are tripool airport transfer vehicle types divided? How do I choose the right one? How are passenger and luggage counts calculated?
For Japan airport transfers, tripool vehicles are mainly divided into two categories:
(1) 7-seat SUV: up to 4 passengers and 4 pieces of luggage.
(2) 10-seat business van: up to 9 passengers and 7 pieces of luggage.
Passengers and luggage are counted by actual quantity. A child of any age occupies 1 seat, and you must inform us of the total number of passengers and luggage when booking. If you are bringing large items such as a stroller, golf clubs, or a snowboard, please consult our online customer service before booking.

1. The tripool airport transfer fee already includes the base fare (the door-to-airport private ride fare), as well as the driver service fee, business tax, tolls, and other necessary costs. Passenger insurance is also included. (Child seats, name-board pickup, or additional stops require a separate paid add-on.)
2. tripool offers a late-night ride service: tripool provides 24-hour airport transfers, and red-eye flights in the early morning or late night can all be booked.
3. Night surcharge rules and period: the night/late-night period is defined as 22:00–06:59. Surcharge: if your ride time (including a landing time that falls into this period due to a flight delay) is within the night period, the system will add a night service fee based on the booking date and the pickup/drop-off addresses.
4. Transparent pricing: all night surcharges are clearly shown during the online estimate and at checkout, so there are no unexpected extra charges.

tripool provides comprehensive passenger insurance coverage. All dispatched vehicles are government-registered, legally operating commercial vehicles and are insured, as required, with compulsory automobile liability insurance, third-party liability insurance, and passenger liability insurance. In addition, within 7 days after the trip ends, the system will send an electronic receipt that can be legally used for company expense reimbursement.
How are airport pickup waiting time and overtime calculated? If my flight is delayed, will the driver wait for me?
1. Flight delay handling
(1) Automatic ride-time extension: if you have provided your flight, the driver will track your arrival time in real time based on flight status. If the original driver's subsequent schedule is not affected, they will wait for you on site; if the delay is too long for the original driver to accommodate, tripool will help dispatch another driver at no extra charge.
(2) Night surcharge: if a flight delay causes the actual landing time to fall into the "late-night period (22:00–06:59)," a night service fee will be charged as required.

Free pickup waiting time: with a flight provided - after the flight actually arrives (lands), the driver waits free of charge at the airport (90 minutes for Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia; 120 minutes for Vietnam and Thailand); without a flight provided - the driver waits free of charge at the airport for 30 minutes based on your specified pickup time.
3. Overtime fee calculation: if the free waiting time of 30 or 90 minutes is exceeded and the driver is able to keep waiting, the overtime fee is NT$300 per 30 minutes (any period under 30 minutes is counted as 30 minutes). Please pay this overtime waiting fee directly to the driver in cash.
4. If your flight changes, we strongly recommend contacting tripool customer service in advance so that a representative can arrange dispatch for you promptly.

At 21:00 the night before departure, you will receive an email from tripool containing the driver's name, phone number, license plate, and a link for a private chat with the driver. For airport pickups (return trips), the driver will contact you on the day of travel or upon your arrival; for drop-offs, the driver will go directly to the designated address at the agreed time.
Can I modify an airport transfer order? Is there a fee? How do I cancel an order? Is there a fee?
1. Order changes: if you submit a request before 23:59, 3 days before departure (earlier during consecutive holidays), tripool offers free cancellation; cancellations after this deadline are non-refundable. To modify an order, please handle it within the specified time; late requests may incur a modification service fee of at least $200 or be subject to vehicle availability.
2. How to modify: reply directly to your "order confirmation email," or tell the tripool customer service center the changes you want, and our staff will assist you.
3. Modification deadline: for one-way transfers and hourly charters, please submit your request before 06:00 the morning before the ride.
4. Fee policy: cancellations within the deadline are free and eligible for a full refund (card refund or an equivalent coupon). After the specified time, no refund is given. In the event of force majeure such as a natural disaster, a full refund is available.
