Booking and ride questions.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my ride?

For point-to-point transfers and hourly rides in Taiwan: cancel by 6:00 AM two days before your ride for a full refund. Cancel 1–2 days before your ride for an 80% refund, or less than one day before for a 70% refund. If you miss your scheduled ride, you cannot cancel, reschedule, or request a refund. What if my flight is delayed, canceled, or arrives early?

Enter accurate flight details when booking. If your flight is delayed, pickup is postponed automatically; another driver may be assigned if needed. For a cancellation, contact customer support as soon as possible. An earlier pickup after early arrival depends on driver availability. See the official airport transfer FAQ for full conditions.

How long will the driver wait if I am late?

For point-to-point pickups other than airport arrivals, standard vehicles wait free for 10 minutes and luxury vehicles for 15 minutes. If the driver agrees to wait longer, the fee is NT$300 per 30 minutes for standard vehicles (from minute 11) or NT$400 per 30 minutes for luxury vehicles (from minute 16).

For airport pickups, both vehicle types include 30 minutes of free waiting from the scheduled pickup time. After that, the same NT$300 or NT$400 fee applies for each additional 30 minutes. Any partial 30-minute period is charged as a full period; pay the driver in TWD cash. If the driver cannot wait, or cannot reach you after the free waiting period and you have not contacted the driver or customer support, the ride may be treated as a no-show with no refund. How is an hourly ride priced, and what is included?

Hourly rides are priced by booked time, vehicle type, and route. Attraction tickets, admission, and parking are not included and are paid on site. Extra time or distance may incur charges; see the official FAQ for current details.

How will I find my driver and vehicle on the day?

At 8 PM the day before your ride, tripool sends the driver’s name, license plate, and contact number by app notification or email, depending on how you booked. You can contact the driver directly on the day of the ride.

Where can I use tripool?

Enter your pickup and drop-off points on the fare search page to see available routes and prices. If a location does not appear, contact customer support for help.

How far in advance should I book?

For the best price, book by 6 AM two days before your ride. The latest booking time depends on departure time: by 6 PM the day before for morning rides, or up to two hours before an afternoon ride. Check the fare search page for availability.

Can I book a child seat?

Yes. Add a child seat when booking. The official FAQ says each vehicle can provide up to two seats, depending on the vehicle model, at NT$300 per seat per trip.

How is tripool different from an on-demand ride service?

tripool is booked in advance. You can check the fare and choose a point-to-point ride, airport transfer, or hourly charter to fit your plans.

Are tripool vehicles legally operated?

tripool is a registered, legally operated service with vehicles and drivers that meet applicable requirements.

Can I get a receipt or a company invoice?

For a receipt, email booking@tripool.app. For a company e-invoice, complete the form linked in the official FAQ with your company name and tax ID.

What if I cannot find my pickup or destination?

Check the spelling of the address or attraction. If it still does not appear, contact customer support to confirm whether the route can be booked.

What’s the difference between point-to-point transfers and hourly rides?

A point-to-point transfer takes you directly between two locations at your scheduled time. An hourly ride gives you a dedicated vehicle for the booked time, with flexibility to visit multiple stops within the included hours and mileage.

How long will the driver wait for airport pickup?

For airport pickup, we recommend setting your pickup time 1–1.5 hours after the scheduled flight arrival to allow for immigration, customs, and baggage claim. Free waiting is calculated from the booked pickup time: 30 minutes for both standard and luxury vehicles. After that, waiting costs NT$300 per 30 minutes for standard vehicles or NT$400 per 30 minutes for luxury vehicles; any partial 30 minutes is charged as a full 30 minutes. Please pay the driver in TWD cash. If the free waiting period ends and neither you nor the driver can make contact by phone, the ride is treated as unused and the fare is not refunded. (2) The promo code must be entered at checkout to apply the discount. For any issues, please contact customer support.

3% Rebate Offer
Promotion period: November 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.

(1) During the promotion period, customers who book at least two rides in Taiwan (excluding one-day tour packages) through the tripool official website or mobile app under the same account and pay a combined total of NT$7,000 or more after discounts may qualify for a 3% cash rebate.
(2) This rebate is not tied to any promo code and may be combined with other discounts or promotions.
(3) To qualify, customers must register on the designated registration page on or before December 31, 2026. Late or unregistered entries will not be eligible.
(4) If payment is made in a currency other than NT$, tripool will convert the amount to NT$ using the XE.com mid-market rate on November 1, 2026 to determine eligibility.
(5) The rebate will be returned in the original payment currency. If a customer has paid using multiple currencies, the system will first calculate eligibility in NT$, then return the rebate in one of the order’s payment currencies at tripool’s discretion. Customers cannot select the currency.
(6) Rebates will be credited to the original payment method within 30 days after all eligible trips have been completed. tripool is not responsible for any differences caused by exchange rate fluctuations or bank/credit card fees.
(7) Canceled or incomplete trips will not be included in the cumulative spending calculation.

General Terms of the Offer
(1) All times mentioned in this offer are based on Taipei Time (UTC+8).
(2) Customers must use the same name, email, and phone number to accumulate their total spend. tripool is not responsible if different details are used or registration is not completed on the designated page.
(3) Except for the minimum-spend rebate, this promotion cannot be combined with other discounts, promo codes, or campaigns. The minimum-spend rebate may be combined with any other discount or promotion.
(4) tripool reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion and its terms at any time without prior notice. tripool retains the final interpretation rights in case of any disputes.
